LITERATURE: CALL FOR PAPERS IN THE EIGHTH ISSUE OF A PRIORI JOURNAL

The Association for the Promotion of Culture and Opinion Sofia Banja Luka announces an invitation to send literary works to the eighth issue of the science-popular magazine A PRIORI No. 8, year 6/2026.

Works of any literary genre (prose, poetry, essay, literary criticism, presentation) are considered, with the fact that literary criticism will also undergo a specially designated review part of editing.

Deadline for submission: May 15, 2026

CALL FOR PAPERS: EIGHTH ISSUE OF A PRIORI JOURNAL

Theme of the issue: Question of technique
In Battle and Time, Heidegger claims that, from Plato onwards, Western thought has forgotten the fundamental question of what it means to be something - to be present for us before any philosophical analysis. This oblivion of beings leads modern man into a contemporary cultural and intellectual crisis. Heidegger draws attention to the role of technology in our revolution in limiting our experience of things as they really are. We see nature (and human beings) only technologically and it is necessary to find a way of thinking that could save us from its controlling power. The solution is not to reject technology, but what is? In this issue you can explore the nature of technology, its techne, phronesis and episteme, its relationship with people as well as its impact on society and culture. You can also think about the ethical implications of technological progress, about issues such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and the impact of technology on nature.
