Abstract
The aim of this work is to present the argumentation of Thomas Aquinas in his attempt to prove God, and in addition, his determination of the soul. First, we look back at the Middle Ages and what comes with it, and how it all affected the authors of that period. Then we specifically focus on God, as the Creator, and with that his relationship with man. In the third part, we deal with the concept of the soul and its properties in the most basic terms. The conclusion includes the essence of the entire work, as well as the reflection and influence that the other authors had on Thomas Aquinas.
