Abstract

As the title itself suggests, the main subject of our research and presentation is poetry and its connection with language and human existence. The basic starting points for this are Heidegger's interpretations of Helderlin's and Rilke's verses, along with which and on the basis of which his thoughts on the topic we are now dealing with develop. Benjamin's interpretations of the texts and the significance of the writers as representatives of the three cultures that make up European culture - Bodeler (Romanesque), Kafka (Germanic) and Dostoevsky (Slavic) - agree or confront them. Through following the paths and opinions of two interpreters of European literature, we strive for a comprehensive reflection and presentation of the role of poetry, poets and poetic thought in the context of human existence in a world that was contemporary to Helderlin, Rilke, Heidegger and all other creators. at the crossroads of modern and contemporary times.
